Professional Education Coordinator

Professional Education Coordinator

We’re looking for a highly organised team player who is a strong communicator yet has an eye for detail to help coordinate the scheduling, booking and planning of our professional education activities globally. Planning, budgeting and the development of planning tools will be an essential element of the role as CMR Surgical grows throughout the global market in 2020 and beyond so the detail plays an important part of the role.

Why join us?

CMR is one of the UK’s most exciting companies to be joining right now. The scale of our ambition to build a world-class medical devices company in Cambridge is matched only by the breathtaking innovation that underpins our next generation of surgical robot. We’re an award-winning company that plans to significantly disrupt the way surgery is performed for the benefit of millions of patients all around the world.

Our values are ambitious, humble, people focused and fair and responsible. If you share these values, our passion for improving lives, and have the skills to make a real difference to the way minimal access surgery is developed and delivered, then it’s a great time to join us.

Responsibilities

You will work with established partner facilities, internal logistics teams, our implementation team and of course our wonderful professional educators to ensure that our customers have a world class customer experience from the moment they are booked onto a course until the moment they leave. In addition to this, you will:

  • Develop course forecasts & resource schedules
  • Work with the digital teams to develop branded and customer friendly booking tools
  • Build relationships with key partner facilities
  • Work closely with our commercial teams globally to ensure local market needs are met
  • Ensure adequate resourcing is available by coordinating with our professional education managers
  • Coordinate the various processes with relevant stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication with customers and facilities
  • Communicate with facilities, logistics and forecasting teams to ensure adequate equipment stock to support all professional education activities.

We’re a high growth company and as such roles change and evolve. We’d expect you to be willing to turn your hand to anything within the professional education remit that helps the team deliver its objectives.

About you

A natural communicator hopefully goes without saying, but in addition we’d like you to have:

  • Previous experience of planning and forecasting in a similar role
  • Advanced skills of Microsoft Excel and ideally NetSuite (or similar platform)
  • An eye for detail and comfortable handling complex projects that require solutions
  • An innovative thinker who can bring new ideas to help streamline processes
  • As well as a genuine desire to help and support team members so that we can all achieve our best, you will be motivated by ensuring our customers receive an excellent, effective and fulfilling experience every time

The package

We offer a competitive salary and a great benefits package (including non-contributory pension scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, life assurance, and our legendary monthly BBQs). On top of that, you’ll be joining a company with a fabulous culture of ambition, creativity and teamwork, and where fun is just as valued as our commitment to make surgery better for millions of people.

Interested? We’d love to hear from you!
