CMR Surgical receives extension to ISO 13485:2012 certification

Cambridge, UK, 14 May 2018 | CMR Surgical, the British company developing a next-generation surgical robot, has received an extension to its ISO certification to cover manufacturing, installation and service. ISO 13485 is a globally recognised standard for quality management systems, which supports the design and manufacture of medical devices.

CMR Surgical has more than doubled in size in the past year. It now employs over 200 people and expects to continue its significant growth as it moves closer to submitting its surgical robotic system, Versius, for regulatory approval.
