CMR Surgical, the private company developing a next-generation system for universal minimal access surgery, today announces that it has successfully met the requirements of a S1 Audit for registration to ISO 13485:2003 and ANSI/AAMI/ISO 13485:2003 (R2009) by Underwriters Laboratories (‘UL’) and will now progress to the final S2 Registration assessment and certification.
CMR has implemented an effective Quality Management System and this is the first step to obtaining certification to ISO 13485:2003 which is key to the company being able to fulfil its vision and commitment to delivering safe and effective medical devices to its customers.
