Versius.
The uniquely small, modular & portable surgical robot
Making it easy to build your robotics programme
Fits into virtually any operating room
Familiar laparoscopic port placement
Maximise your clinical workflow & schedules
Unique V-Wrist Technology
It is the patented V-wrist technology that enables Versius to be a surgical robot like no other. This innovative technology, allows Versius to be small, modular and portable, making it easy for surgeons to adopt, easy to move around a hospital, and ultimately maximises utilisation. The 360 degrees of wrist rotation also allows the surgical instruments to be small, leading to smaller incisions for the patient.
Keep your port placement
With Versius, you can place your ports where you want them, to best suit the needs of each patient. This allows you to operate the way you did laparoscopically, with all the benefits of robotic-assisted surgery.
We didn’t need to change much to accommodate Versius — it allows us to approach our operations with a laparoscopic mindset.

Thoracic
Versius for general surgeons
Our innovative V-wrist technology means Versius is able to have small instruments, increasing access to the anatomy and minimising stress on the port site, with the aim of reducing pain for the patient.

Versius for gynaecology surgeons
Because Versius is a modular system, surgeons can perform procedures with the same surgical approach they are used to in manual laparoscopy, with the same port placement, with the surgical team easily able to support from the bedside.

Versius for colorectal surgeons
The stable 3D HD vision and fully-wristed instruments, with direct hand-to-instrument mapping, provide better access and depth perception of the anatomy when working within the abdomen, compared to a laparoscopic approach.

Versius for urology surgeons
With the enhanced precision and control offered by Versius, it is possible to remove larger and more complex tumours from the kidneys, without needing to remove the whole organ.

Ergonomic
Bringing you ergonomic benefits
Versius has an ergonomic console which allows you to sit or stand to reduce fatigue and stress.
Did you know nearly 20% of surgeons in the UK and 15% of surgeons in Germany think they may need to retire early due to the physical impact of conducting laparoscopic surgery.1
