CMR are hiring for a Junior Quality Engineer to join our close-knit and fast-paced Operations Quality team. You'll be providing support to the ongoing daily operations which includes the release of product from Manufacturing, material review board and quarantine control, non-conformance management, and data analysis of our quality processes to help deliver our ground-breaking medical robot, Versius.  

This is a full-time position, based 5 days a week in our state of the art Ely Manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Control of the release of products from manufacturing.
• Liaise with other internal departments (e.g. Production, Engineering, etc.) to resolve manufacturing issues, where identified by senior members of Operations.
• Collect and present data regarding functional performance to line management.
• Take an active role in the management of non-conformance and lead any relevant meetings including MRB meetings and quarantine management.
• Take an active role in the RCA.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate and as required by your line manager to support business requirements.

We’re a rapidly developing company and roles can change and evolve. You’ll be willing to turn your hand to anything within the Operations Quality remit that supports the team with delivering its objectives.

Note that this role will require driving between sites. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have good attention to detail, and be highly organised with excellent MS office skills, in addition you'll need:

• Some industry experience within a similar quality role
• A degree or equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant industry 
• Familiarity with PowerBI, Netsuite or similar software tools
• An effective communicator who can confidently engage with various stakeholders.
• A flexible working style that won’t be deterred by a fast-paced working environment, or by a wide range of tasks.
• Professional and good team player.
• Academic or hands-on experience and knowledge in electro-mechanics and software.
